BMW F800GS or 1200GSA rules!! Ner Ner ... and maybe KTM 990Adv

I've had an F650GS and, before the Ducati, two R1200GS's, an '09 and a DOHC '10 version. Over the 26 months I had them I covered 24000 miles. Great bikes, without doubt, but something smaller and lighter was needed. Hence the Monster 1100evo. Thumbs Up

ps. Had a few Harleys too. Very Happy

That's a tall tail pack there yobbie, you must be like a ninja to be able to throw your leg either over it or between it and the tank!!! Lovely R1 SP though!!!

Thanks mate. The luggage was for a trip down Grand route des Alps to Monaco to run it in. Thumbs Up

As for BMW GS1200, I've just done 2000km in S. Africa on one, not impressed

Mermoto got any more pics/details of your Harley, need to dream about something Very Happy Is it standard or a custom jobby? Appreciate the look of sports bikes but too uncomfortable and dangerous for me, except the below sort Wink

Brough Superior Very Happy

Sorry Zag, I meant to reply to you a few weeks back.

Its a HD Fat Bob Mr. Green fairly standard but I have done a stage 1, (V&H Short shots, Kitech fueler, deristricted air box) so now it sounds Laaaaarrvvvly Whistle even old ladies have come up to me and said they like it Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Got a solo seat for those selfish rides too. The only HD I really liked as it looks like a proper bike without silly chrome stuff and it rides pretty good given the simplicity. Still like riding BMW GS's though, they sort of compliment each other I find Thumbs Up

Nice bike Mermoto Thumbs Up
I've had a couple of Dynas, an '03 plate FXDL and a '55 plate FXD35 (the anniversary SuperGlide) as well as three other Harleys which were an XL1200S, a Springer Classic and an ElectraGlide Standard. Did loads of miles/rallies and had a great time. Maybe I'll look for an old Sportster or Panhead for when I get time to tinker with them. Did the H-D Riders Edge Advanced at Builith Wells, that was fun!
