Have you been given a price yet? Are the new ones with sidelights more expensive?

Unfortunately, the headlamps with the sidelight function are more expensive, as they are a completely new unit. I expect they will get slightly cheaper in time, once the development costs have been covered, as the LED headlamps without sidelights have done. I have now listed the LED Headlamps on our website shop, here: http://www.alivetuning.co.uk/LED_Lighting.html If forum members would like to order any of these, can you please telephone us so we can apply your discount. |

I just wanted to be sure as mobile centre list them as single units. With forum discount I may be tempted.

I had priced them incorrectly, not accounting for VAT , but even our (corrected) retail price is a few quid cheaper than elsewhere. I never gave the '£200 cheaper' comment earlier, a second thought as I've been so busy lately.
I suggest you chaps get your heads together for a group buy, and speak to me by telephone if you have any questions. I promise you will not be disappointed. |

as previously stated, the new side-light version will be a little more expensive until the R&D costs have been covered. so does this mean the 8700s w/o side lights are going to be discontinued ? |

No, of course not. Defenders from around 2003 and newer never had the integral sidelight fitted, and so the current 8700's are a like for like replacement. |
