I've heard of side shafts snapping due to excessive wheel spin on the older non-TC Defenders.
As soon as the wheel touch the ground/get grip again the side shaft just let go

Make sure that they really do use OE glass (Pilkington).
Unless your seal is damaged, you are better off not replacing it (assuming that your Defender is 2008) since the later seals are less flexib ... |
