You have to get quotes from a few dealers then play them against each other, its amazing how the price of a service can rapidly come down.

Heard people say its lack of grease that causes the shaft to wear. Is it possible and/or beneficial to try and squirt some lubricant of some sort in there.

If I was you I would be looking at putting a 3.2 tdci in it. Much better than a new 2.2.
