Interesting solution. probably works very well at forcing moisture out etc and would no doubt increase the life of the hinge... But in my opinion is suited more where the vehicle might be heavily use ...

Yes agreed. It has to be continuous really from new. I apply a little acf50 once month to all the hinges

Hi. I use occasional acf50 treatment to my hinges and have done for 7 years since new. No evidence of rust or wear as yet. 78000 miles. I recommend this for your new hinges 👍

I fitted Britpart one piece shafts to my 2015 90 about 25k miles ago and have had no issues. About £120 at the time delivered. I painted the flanges first as indeed they will rust. Thumbs Up

I had my 2015 Puma from new and simply use acf50 regularly and all the bolts and hinges are perfect still. If I replaced due to rust I would use standard LR parts personally.
