Yes!
We don't have a CB permanently installed but borrowed one for an event, so it wasn't properly set up for the vehicle.
We had to stop the engine to use it.

I normally get in mine, open the front vents, open the windows and start driving. Within about 200 yards the hot air has escaped and I've stopped sweating!!

I guess it also depends if you keep in a garage, amd how cold it is. I have seen some land rovers with covers on the grill.. anyone know if these are worth looking into?

| had a set of bfg mt's on my 1987 td for 3 years and would recomend them to anyone was totally amazed how little wear in that time as to noise levels would say they are no more noisey than my old range ... |

mine i think is a bit less than that about 6/7 miles tops (might have somthing to do with way i drive it though )

yeah you are right it is 3mm etched look on the wings .
must admit the more i think on it the more i think i'll go the rock slider route as the numpties around here dont seem to be too fussy i ... |

the chequer plate on the wings is lr fitted from new i'd say and colour coded so would rather leave it than have holes in the wing tops , just dont like the look of it all along the side
