To fit one of these tanks to puma with plastic main,do you have to drill a hole for what is called a balance pipe.From what I have read,on metal tanks (TD5) you use the drain plug.

I would rather fit 235 tyres on 6.5j rims as it sits better on these.Wolf rims are not that pricey anyway. |

That is listed as being suitable for
Defender 110 - after 1999 (plastic tank, Td5 and the new Td4 models)

Has anyone fitted the 45L rear arch tank from Britpart.Are they made well?It seems straight forward to fit or am I wrong.I'm hoping that the main tank does not have to come out to fit the filler tube. |

I now some Pumas have had this seal fualt and was fixed under warrenty.I't is not difficult to do yourself but rather take it in if you are near a dealer. |
