I was reading something similar recently, I know it would be try to do but supposidly raising the rear of the bonnet would have more benifit than raising at the front.

Litterally just did exactly this...
Fitted an bolted the inner (higher) side, then jacked up this side under the axle and the other side lined up eventually and bolt slid through.. |

I wasn't even aware that there was a lower temp version of the stat available.. 
Looks a good shout though! Plenty of stuff now coming out for these conversions which is excellent all round |

Can't help either, but with the wheel speed simulator, as long as the diff ratio and tyre size is correct CANTCU seems to work it out pretty faultlessly.

I put one on in my 110 a few years ago, not quite the OEM arrangment but using a V8 gearbox and adapter plate.
