What size winter tyres should I put on my Dotz Dakar 7x16 wheels?
I don't want them too fat. I run standard steelies in the summer.

Head unit unlikely to make much difference to sound quality, you'll probably get better returns on your investment by looking at the speakers first.

You are right about the screen though but there's little point worrying about such things in a Defender what ever you do as it'll never be a perfect set up due to road and mostly engine noise.
