| attempt to crank using volt meter on block to good earth volt meter will read voltage you are losing due to bad connection. |

| My 300tdi has a Romer overdrive,it reduces revs by 28%in all gears including low range,they cost quite a lot ,but mine came with one.im very pleased with it,just another option for you. |

The Romer overdrive drops the revs by 28%so about 1100 revs at 4000,560 at 2000.70mph nice and quiet (once i change the straight through exhaust)  |
