Not best best place imo. Prone to water ingress and the reverb off the body would be awful.
Best spot is back of the cubby or under the resr seats if a 110 |

| Doing the job "first time.round" I have always replaced everything. Then you know its sorted. Changing the pins is an extra 10mins at the most. |

Your coolant temp switch connected/working correctly?
The AC fan will come on if the ECU thinks theres even a chance of over heat, inc if the coolant switch is broken/ not connected. |
