Hello,

Found a prodigous amount of oil on my red plug, so have changed engine loom, and cleaned up the plugs as best I can.

However it's obvious oil has got in to the ECU, despite me not having ...

THe LVH100230 I have just bought is metal type, but looking before Istart the job, the one that is on is a 2-3mm thick rubber gasket.... ...

Yes thats the one. Can't attest to how long it lasts as it's only been in about 3 weeks, but its a significantly snugger fit

So I decided to have a little poke around, and a very rusty jubilee clip fell off. I have now replaced, and filled up with fuel, and no leak.

If only every landrover job was that simple!

I went with Momo Prototipo

Whatever you get, also invest in a removeable boss and lock from optimill. Makes for a good extra layer of security

If you have some trim, it's dead easy to make one yourself with a couple of inches of closed cell foam

What ground are you using? if it's the original then I suspect you haven't got a proper ground as the door switches switch the ground feed for the interior lights. Presumably if they are missing then ...
