I cant be sure but I believe they could be different types.. the 2.2tdci sensor definitely outputs a square wave..ie digital...and its the frequency of that signal that the ecu uses..

You shouldn't need to touch any of the 3 temp sensors..in fact they can be difficult to remove even with the pipe off the vehicle..

Just had a quick look at the other posts.. are you just trying to establish they are clearing not blocked..
You shouldn't need to remove them from the dpf to check.. go to the sensor end and disconne ... |
