| I did a 620 mile trip from northern Scotland to south of London yesterday. Dave the Defender was excellent. Beautifully smooth, very comfortable. Jumped out at the end untroubled by aches and pains.

I’m getting 35-40mpg from my D250 90 on journeys over 15 miles or so. Driven smoothly, no smashing the loud pedal.
You’ll probably get even better mpg on longer runs at that rate. |

I’ve now reinstalled my steps after giving them multiple coats of Hammerite smooth black paint. Spray for the tubes and underside of the steps, and brush-on paint for the brackets.
