| try lubricating the points on the clutch pedal where the return spring is in the footwell, wd40 isn't a great long term lubricant as it dries out, a spray grease would be more suitable |

| thanks oldowner, I took the shaft off and then couldn't find anything wrong with the Transfer box, greased the shaft put it all back together with new nuts and bolts, will ignore it for a bit and see ... |
