Yes, but JLR must have realised those stick on incontinence pads would just fall off after a mile or so!

If it's a Puma model, get under and have a look for some red dust around the little hole where the output shaft is. If yes, then pretty sure it's blown it's splines and you need to get one from Ashcr ...
