Duratracs are a good looking tyre! Changes the whole vehicle for the better, imo. Thumbs Up James

18" 5094 with Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain plus 255/60/18

but I do feel I need to recalibrate the speedo ?

Previous tyre was on 18" Steels and Michelin 255/70/18

Rolling circumference is different.

Quite noticeable feedback between the Michelins and the Duratracs on MPG. I knew there would be some, but I’m seeing 5mpg. That’s a 13.5% decrease in fuel economy which is a pretty hefty energy increase due to noise and friction.

Going from Cross Contact’s to BFG KO2 on the old defender wasn’t even noticeable on either mpg or noise. Would be interested to know if anyone has gone from the Michelin to the KO2 on their new defender?

What engine are you? If 200 or 250 then a remap may return some of your mpg.

Went from Michelin Adventure to BFG KO2s and on average lost about 3mpg. Good figures still achievable though, on a long drive recently I managed 36mpg.

D250. No chance I’ll remap whilst under warranty.

Cheers Retro. I’m struggling to get into 32-33 on a steady 60mpg run.
