[Wanted] Defender 110 (non runner?) or M57 Conversion
Change of criteria May 2023:

After going for a test drive yesterday, I'm now firmly set on a post 2007 Defender. Unfortunately a td5 is too close to what I currently have in my Ninety and I need the refinement as it is replacing my every car, so I'm after:

Runner or non runner, as I'm likely to convert to a M57 (even better if the conversion has already been done - budget will reflect this).

If I'm carrying out the conversion, the chassis will likely be replaced anyway, so will consider vehicles that requires chassis repairs.

Utility (preference), Station Wagon or Double cab pick up with a minimum of 4 doors.

Ideally in green, but will also consider others...

I now don't require the vehicle to be working, however the general bodywork and interior must be reasonably okay.

    Budget ~£20k

Would you be interested in a td5 90 pick?

Mine will be up on the market soon, need to give it a good clean and it's going in for a crank oil seal leak next week.

Td5 110 on a galvanised (was new) military HD armoured chassis. built as a 2005 spec Td5 but on a 1992 "J" logbook, might put some people off.

Paintwork is starting to bubble in places now (eventhough it had a bare metal paint job in 2010 when I built it)

Looks and sounds a cracking vehicle though!

I have a 110 Station Wagon rolling chassis ready for a heart transplant!

Chassis is galvanised and then finished with epoxy two coat paint.
Bulkhead is also galvanised, primed and painted keswick green.
Axles tubes have been stripped and again painted with epoxy two coat paint.
New turrets, shocks and springs.
R380 gearbox.
Steering column and box
Main wiring loom
Some headlining
Boxes of other bits!
Some bodywork (seatbox, rear body, floor plate, one B pillar, rear door) but you would need to source most of it.
Have the military release papers to allow it to be registered as a 2004 '54' plate.

Looking for around £4k for the whole lot.

Thanks for taking the time to reply 130dreamer. Unfortunately it's a bit too much of project for me at the moment, as tempting as it is. Whistle
