Southern Counties Land Rover Meet 23rd April

Hello All

We are heading further south this time to..
The Goodwood Aerodrome Café, PO18 0PH
23rd April 2023 11.30-12.00am

The Plan is...
Convoy Meeting Place, Alton, GU34 1SB, 10.15am
For those who want to, we will meet up first in Alton, (just off the A31), opposite Jane Austen's House
at Cassandras Cup (Tea Rooms and Bistro, named after Janes Sister) there is a Car Park that will work
for our 'Convoy Start'. We aim to (will) leave at 10.30am.

Head South to Goodwood 45minutes - 1Hr
A Cross-Country Route, via the B3006, A3, A272 and then the B2199, B2146, B2141 and lastly the A286 to Goodwood.
This is not expected to be a 'stay together Convoy', just a, head south, stay safe route to follow, down to Goodwood.

Goodwood Arrival time around 11.30am
The Aerodrome Café has 50 seats inside and the same outside, they don't take bookings, so we are
planning to be ahead of the main 12.00am-2.00pm 'demand' on the Kitchen.
We are aiming to be parked up and in the Café by 12.00am

I'd be interested in this. My wife had a hand in the design of that cafe so it'd be fun to see it

Rear hub seal done just got to pop some new brake pads in tonight and we are ready to leave dry dock for acceptance trials, hopefully rejoining the fleet on Sunday morning Oh woe, oh woe

Hopefully there will be enough tools, spare parts and knowhow between us to keep her afloat...

She should be fine, I only renewed this hub seal as I did the other one out of necessity and only doing one end of anything on an axle is not a thing in my book Oh woe, oh woe
