Oil cooler
Has anyone had bad experiences of the cheap eBay ones? Are they best avoided and getting oem or will they do the job and last a similar amount of time? Thanks.

Hello. What oil cooler are you referring to on the TD5 and eBay?

Yeah on the Td5 just below the turbo. I’m referring to the £40 ones on eBay as opposed to the £120 Brit part or £188 on paddocks spares for example

Bearing in mind Britpart's legendary reputation for quality, I'm staggered you'd even consider a component one-third the price of the Britpart one. I imagine you'd get what you paid for.

I am 5000 km so far on a cheap aliexpress oil cooler, I have another one on stock just in case.

I will like to buy the casing since I have seen it corroded on other TD5s

EDIT:
It has the same Weight (471gr) as the original (469gr) one that was fitted. Augusto
