England 2002 Defender 90 Td5 HT Aintree Green
td5 engine issue
after taking my 2006 td5 90 on a Greenlane in the last 2 weeks, I have encounter an issue with when changing gear the revs of the engine will stay the same and only drop after a good 20 seconds off the throttle.

some people have said crank position sensor, I am clueless so any ideas would be helpful.

If you have a nanocom or similar check if ecu thinks you are in high or low, and if the clutch is up or down.

As above. It sounds like either the clutch position switch is faulty or you have air in the switches orifice.

To check, unplug the switch and go for a drive. The ECU will no longer modulate the RPMs when the clutch is used. The anti-stall will not work, but you can continue unhindered.

The part is number 27: MSK500010 - You cannot use a Puma clutch switch, only a TD5 one.
