Cracking on with odd jobs on the 130. Sorting the power out, have a 24 inch monitor plumbed in now for drone ops.

Loving the drivelodge pop top, slept in it loads the last month. Still working on the plumbing to get the output from the diesel heater up there

Drivelodge roof
Hi,

Love the roof, in your opinion is the roof as stiff as it was as standard. Can you easily gain access to the bed from the back of the defender. I presume there is plenty of headroom. Did Drivelodge fit it themselves. Thanks in advance.

The roof was fitted by LR BITS in Keighley so in your neck of the woods by the looks of it.
They also make their own folding hydraulic bed platform which I've had fitted and it folds up snug into the roof when elevated. This gives good standing height for a large part of a 110.

When the bed is down, there is approximately 2ft left open at the back for you to climb up through. A folding board is then inserted to fill that gap once you're in. I've got my diesel heater output piped up there and it is very warm!!

Haven't noticed any difference in the stiffness of the roof. My roof is slightly different with it being a 130 and its a 110 roof panel so we put an extra strengthening bracket in the rear section but this isn't needed in a 110.

Drop Mick a line, he has one fitted to his 110 which I'm sure he'll show you.

For the money I'm well chuffed with it and like the subtle roof line compared to other more expensive options.
