Thread revival alert!
I am finally getting around to fitting these! I got stuck on the headlight bowls and motors. I thought that the hole at the top of the aperture was for the motor arm. However in this position none of the mounting holes align! Turning it around 180° seems to have solved the problem! The wiring is present behind both headlights, but the connector is corroded on the O/S and I will have to replace it. ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge |

Unfortunately if you fit them upside down they'll work in reverse, raising the headlights rather than lowering them, I'm sure incoming traffic won't appreciate that
![]() The motor lives and the bottom and pulls the bottom of the headlights in to dip them rather than pushing the top out ![]() 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Might be good for aircraft spotting though!
That hole at 12O’Clock in the aperture really got me confused!! |
