um, soo? Over here we're no insured if an accident happens on a private detour.
There's loads of fleet management systems available with detailed tracking and statistics. May not be a nice feeling, but hey, feeling??

My dad worked for the local council, and everyone of their vans, flat beds etc had trackers on. That was to keep an eye on miss use of the vehicles, that the workers took home. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
