LR retrofits are not offering power upgrades at the moment as there have been some problems with LR motors and Lr retrofits want LR to sort problems first.

Anyone had any luck on D200 remap to 330bhp?

All I can find in UK is about 249 bhp

Another thing to consider with the difference between the D200/D250 and D300 is the brake callipers and disc sizes are bigger so you aren't just paying for more power but bigger brakes too.

I can't decide which to go for D250 or D300....

Not in the UK yet...
Upgraded brakes already considered.

My LR technician friend said an easy upgrade to 6 pots as long as you are running min size 20" alloys. See my other posting for 6 pot Brembo upgrade.

I still cannot see any companies in UK doing the D200 to D300 equivalent power upgrade at the moment....

Just our friends in Europe:

Shiftech

https://www.shiftech.eu/en/reprogramming/l...0-mhev-200

&

RSTRONIC

https://www.rstronic.com/nl/en/chiptuning/...mhev-200hp

Both stating:

BHP 200 hp to 330 hp +130 hp

Torque increase from 500 Nm to 720 Nm

Anyone on here had this upgrade?

While i think many features you could probably debate in spec or not - i think engine BHP will just void your warranty ... if warranty isnt important than happy days Mike

Hi guys
I’ve noticed most of the companies offering the remap to bring the D200 and D250 up to D300 power have temporarily removed this service.

Does anyone have any info? Please only post with info, not opinions on maps!

Many thanks!
Adam.

Might they have withdrawn their re-maps because they are waiting to see what will become of the new “anti-tampering” laws? Could be that they might have some sort of liability if they sell that sort of modification……… Epsom Green Tdi300 County

Well in Germany you need to get this officially approved by the technical supervisory association AND I guess you'll loose the warranty on your car from JLR.
I have one in my Skoda Superb done by ABT which is a Volkswagen owned tuner. 2L diesel originally 190HP and 400nm and it went to 215HP and 440nm. I just did it as pulling a horse trailer was horrible at the speed of 100km/h. The auto transmission shifted between 6th and 7th gear every 1 or 2 minutes. Now always in 7th gear and pulling the horse trailer off the traffic lights is very smooth as well.
So in my upcoming D250 the 249HP and 570nm with the 8speed auto would be enough.
And if I want to go fast I'll get the old 911 out of the barn! Whistle 110 D250 SE Tasman Blue, white roof, black pack, advanced towing pack, rear diff locker, driver assist

I spoke with a tuning company earlier. To do with the SOTA updates interfering with the remap.

You can have a look at this. I have no experience with it, it's just being discussed on landroverforums.com

Can confirm after talking to three different ECU tuning suppliers. SOTA update of ECU will kill changes made individually. SOTA updates are done 'clean sweep', the unit code will be overwritten completely not just selectively.

'Old style' ecu tuning with additional electronics unit wired to the ECU and sensor harness still does work though. It's just very few suppliers left providing those as everybody has been jumping on the train speeding into the brave new digital world.

Looks like JLR retrofit is back doing the upgrades.

Taken from their Facebook page:

A 2021 Defender 110 D200 having the D300 Power Upgrade package applied.
Generally, when your vehicle is "re-mapped", the system will usually flag a fault code to inform the service department that you have tampered with your engine ECU. The relevant DTC is P167F (Non-OEM Calibration Detected). This doesn't happen with us.
We've taken the relevant sectors from a D300's engine ECU and applied those to the corresponding regions of this D200
Please note the vehicles boot was full with heavy trade items. There was excess weight on the top and there were two people within the vehicle. In optimal conditions the 0-60 time will be reduced.
The before and after photos are for comparison of the maps' effect.
No faults. No DTCs. No problems.
Before (D200):
Power - 200ps (197bhp)
Torque - 500Nm (368 lb.ft)
Max Speed - 109mph
After (D300):
Power - 300ps (296bhp)
Torque - 650Nm (479 lb.ft)
Max Speed - 119mph
