It seems to be on fairly recent production that the locking fuel filler flap is no longer part of the central locking system. There is a recent thread about this issue from a member with a recently delivered V8.
JLR could at least have substituted an old fashioned lock on the flap or a locking cover on the top of the filler hose like I have on my 1996 TDi 300…… Epsom Green Tdi300 County 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now with a host of accessories British Racing Green Mini E Level 3 with full dechrome. Ordered May 22 Pangea Green 90 D250 HSE with air suspension and off-road packs |

Seems an odd thing to do given the current fuel issues and no doubt increasing risk of theft??
