Noco GBX45 + TMax compressor & shared Anderson plug
Hi all,

I need some guidance in electricity as I am a rookie in the domain. So pardon me if I am asking stupid questions.

What I have:

- a NOCO GBX45 jump start pack. Out of the box it comes with a 20cm long 8AWG cable (10mm2) with alligator battery clips.

- a NOCO GBC007 47cm adapter extension cable, still 8AWG cable, compatible with the GBX45 to jump start.

- a TMax 160 air compressor. It has a connection cable about 220cm and also about 8AWG with alligator battery clips. TMax draws 45A.

What I would like:

- to fit an Anderson plug to the NOCO extension instead of the eyelet M6 terminal connector, as well as to the TMax cable (and keeps the alligator battery clips as alternative)

- to have a single Anderson socket out of the battery box to either jump start with the NOCO or use the compressor.

What I am absolutely not sure about is whether or not it is feasible, which Anderson socket, cable gage and connector to consider:

- SB50 with 6AWG or 8AWG connectors/cable
- As advised here in other threads, use Anderson SB175 with 2AWG (35mm2) for jump starting
- Do nothing and keep removing the seat to access battery box in the rare case I would need to access the battery terminal Smile

Hi, have you considered fitting remote battery terminals to the front of the front of the seatbox?
The compressor, charger or jump leads can be clipped to these without removing the seat and no need to fit Anderson plugs to everything.

No, not really so far. I am not sure I am very confident in having those external battery terminals around... Most probably no rational on this, but electricity, me and water ingress seems to be a perfect combination for fireworks Laughing Not sure neither that the Swiss MOT will like it much...
