the thing marked 16 is just a nylon strap. Easy enough to make your own.
If you're missing the other bit, you need to go shopping - that's what locks the seat down and provides support.

I believe the part you need is LR062679
This should be a 2 piece kit consisting of a plug/collar and a firtree that goes into it.
You need to order 1 for each side.

I've had a couple on order for a while with one of the main parts suppliers, but understand that they are currently on backorder with LR so have not got them yet.

I've not chased mine lately, so please do let me know if you manage to get some!

a word of warning, at one point LR sent out packets marked up with the correct partno Lr062679, but they simply contained a single standard pop-rivet! clearly someone at LR having an off day!

EDIT: this message prompted me to chase up my order. Apparently they're now on backorder on LR with no ETA. I may resort to plan B which was to set a nutsert into the frame and use a bolt. This will work fine, but I think (unless you have a right angle drill) that I'll need to take the frame out of the car to expand the hole to be the right size for the nutsert.

Thanks
Jon

no, lrparts is who my order was with and just called me to say they're effectively NLA.

the service from them has been great, but clearly if LR don't have any, there's not a lot they can do.

Worth checking the parts you have, the fir trees were in the parts box I sent. I pulled the straps out to separate the frames from the seats when packaging up.

You can clearly see how they connect in the photo from my ad.

It’s all good, just thought it would be worth mentioning in case you ended up ordering something you already have!

By all means send pics. I wonder if the spares might be seatbelt mounting bolts ? JB
