Ireland 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 CSW Stornoway Grey
noisekiller engine blanket highly recommeded
I fitted the above today. It takes 5 minutes and I am astonished by the result - the engine noise has halved.

They do a special L shaped one for the Puma. Its £95 well spent - no need for the rest of the kit which is £280. You use the 3 releasable cable ties but I would get a couple extra so you can find suitable solid anchoring points. You can still access the dipstick with it fitted too.

I also covered the rear wheel arches with butyl flashing (two rolls of 5m x 150mm from any builders merchants) and that has halved the splashing sound you hear when driving on wet roads (raining all day here) so it must work. The rest of the car is pretty well sound proofed at the factory I think so job done ! Very Happy

there you go
what isn't visible in the photo is the flap that tucks down the back of the engine hence the L shape overall. You just have to bend it away from the exhaust manifold.

You can also get an under bonnet kit but I think the blanket is better as it muffles the din at source

I had a Td5 one which I shifted from vehicle to vehicle, it worked well. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

[Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc]
