Puma totally dead!
Had no issues and everything been working as it should.

Haven’t driven it for about a week. Went to unlock today and central locking didn’t work. Once I was in, turned the key and nothing. Connected to noco 150 and nothing. Connected to cteck and the dash started clicking.

Please see video. https://filebin.net/hsl7gbntsen5jkit

Any insight to this would be grateful appreciated!

Yes, replaced the batteries last year and went through the procedure for the change.

The car battery is also new last year.

Everything was dead...like if you remove the battery from the car!

I even looked to see if someone has tried to break in but don't thing thats happened.

Have you checked that no one has cut the battery cable under the truck?
Checked the earth connection?

Check battery clamps aren’t loose and battery voltage. That clicking is relays and usually is a sign of loose battery clamps or main power or ground supply Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

Thanks. I'll get properly under the car and have a look.

I had this same issue last Christmas. It turned out to be the key fob battery. When I service the car every year I always change the fob battery. It had only been changed 3 months prior. The car had sat for a week or so during the Christmas break. I checked everything else, not thinking it would be the fob battery. However after an hour or so of head scratching, checking connections and fuses, I changed the fob battery and hey presto, central locking worked and she fired right up.

Hope this helps.

Similar experience to Ozy013, had a problem with key fob the other week, despite changing the battery last September it only lasted 5 months, so worth checking. Defender 90XS SW

Thank you for all the pointers.

I reconditioned the battery and fired it up and all was normal...I did notice that the lights were on when I did a walk-around! It was at this point a neighbour came over and asked if i had a battery problem. He then told me he saw my side lights on one night but I wasn't around when he tried to tell me.

So seems like I've had a moment!! Embarassed Rolling with laughter
