Front Interior Courtesy Lights
My car does not appear to have a ‘central’ light in between the left and right front reading lights.
I’ve touched it and nothing happens. I’ve held my finger there to trigger the automatic illumination off and on and nothing happens.
I refer to this page in the iGUIDE. Red circle around ‘2’.

Anyone else have this issue?

Hope it’s not another ‘microchip’ shortage problem

yeh seems so... it's not a deal breaker. Seems others (with MY22?) don't have this issue.
I don't want to waste hours unless the dealer can do a pick up and courtesy car.

Take it in, let them do a while you wait diagnostic, then return for the replacement. If it’s the module it takes about 15 minutes to pop out, plug in a new one and test.

I wouldn’t bother with a courtesy car, I would just wait for it (or offer to fit myself) Mike

Pretty sure it should work...i don't think it is an "option". That being said, the interior lights don't seem that bright to me.

The central light is present, but the switch to trigger does not work.
Will bring it in when I have a moment.

I upgraded the boot, door, and footwell lights to the plain white LED ones from Powerfuluk. Makes a huge difference.
Also installed the LED lightbar for the boot that they do in conjunction with Defender3D. Absolute night and day.
Well worth it.

Unfortunately not. Have been in and out of the country... but I will have to. It's annoying as the kids need it to put on their safety belts. I've resorted to opening the door which is great when it's -10 outside. 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof

Finally brought it into the dealers to get this sorted amongst other things.
It is a fault.

They will order the part, apparently the entire console has to be exchanged. 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof
