On the motorbike theme...

I have a number of bikes currently from Ducati’s , MV Augusta , Yamaha, BMW and Honda but I’m thinking about getting an Indian to add to the collection
With a little personalisation this this great looking bike could look even better…. Click image to enlarge Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |

I do like that Indian Bought a Guzzi V85TT recently, absolutely loving it. Quite old technology, even agricultural! But...loving it! Done 2000 miles in 2 months! Out for another 260 mile ride tomorrow, loving heated gloves The way the bike fires up (air cooled v twin) makes me think I need a Biggles outfit, and white silk scarf Click image to enlarge Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

Tried on of them and loved it. Was a red and yellow one.
Tried a Niken and lived it. Got nicked March last year. Done 20k on a Yam 1200 Tenere. Great bike. Bought a used 1250 GS A in July. Love the big tank so can get to lakes in one go. Not gelled with bike after 2k. No front end feel. 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

So the reality is, and I try to tell the wife this…. You need several bikes for all sorts of reasons.
Thankfully she knows that if I buy the right ones at the right price, I’m actually locking in the value so should shove come to bust, we can always convert them back to cash. Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |

Click image to enlarge It's basically a Suzuki GN125...or at least a very good copy of one. All the components seem to be interchangeable (uses same oil filter for instance) If anyone's looking for a "starter bike" I bought this a while back, done a LOT of work on it. Full service, including all fluids (incl brake fluid), oil, filter etc, had to strip the carb because it had been stood a while. Valves done. It's 100% ready. I'll be taking it for a full MOT when I get a spare day to whizz it up on my Motolug... Under 1500 miles. 2010. Ridden it up and down the road after servicing it (no insurance, tax or MOT yet) and it runs really well. I was hoping my GF was going to use it as a learner bike (her CBT has lapsed) but it looks like she's going to take a 3 year contract overseas! No use for the bike now. It is a great learner bike, I was surprised how low the seat is, and how much torque it has (for a 125) for setting off (most 125's I have ridden need loads of revs and clutch-juggling to get going, but this is easy-peasy!). Could deliver anywhere on M6, or Northamptonshire/Hertfordshire areas. Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

Old BMW K100 or k75 has been my answer to the closest thing I could get to the Defender. They are pretty bullet proof, easy to work on, heavy as anything and put a smile on my face.
I bought a k100 and k75 for £500. Proper barn find and hadn’t been used in about 15 years. K100 is now finished as below and the k75 is in progress. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

This girl goes great with my 90. It's an XR1200 from 2009, slightly modified. Meant as the European-Harley but only manufactured for 4 yrs. Wasn't that big of a success. Just make sure you live close by a gas station.
