Puma Nato socket
Just finished the addition of a Nato power socket to the rear of my 2015 Puma. I tow a penman and didn’t want to utilise adapter cables or play around with the trailer wiring. Thought I would post the final pics of the job for interest

Looks good. I've always put my 7 pin socket in that hole so it is out of the way and the wiring harness doesn't get minced on unsurfaced roads. ---

Looks good, Vitesse. How have you done the wiring? Did you buy a bare socket and connect directly to it or one with a tail and have some sort of junction box? How did you tee off the existing wiring? Darren

Thanks. In response to LandRoverAnorak, I bought a new (old stock) socket with cables already fitted. I then extended and connected (soldered) into the main Puma Harness for all relevant pickup for the lights. I also created some additional connections and sub loom for the convoy lamp ( used for the number plate light) and also permanent 12volts as the penman does have a 12volt power outlet on board. Basically so i can run the fridge when on the move to the camp site etc... Thumbs Up
