Photos of this rather smart sleeper conversion completewith pumped water storage tank to a 90HT has appeared on one of the FB groups

The 90HT looks nice conversion with the storage, pumps, and electrical additions. But I can't imagine it's possible for an adult to sleep in it, unless I'm missing something. Defender 90 HSE 250D 2022MY - Gave up after two failed orders

Have a roof tent but when out touring/driving everyday, closing down in wet mornings and setting back up in wet evening not great for keeping everything dry. If buying again I would get a hard shell one. Hope is sleeping in back is a safer bet. The set-up above looks tidy and would be good in 110 commercial but cannot see it working in a 90 commercial. 90S D250 fuji and loving it.

Is there a way to open the back door from the inside of the vehicle? Not sure how to get out otherwise.

Yes there is a button to press to open the rear door from the inside of an HT.. D5. Previously 90HT, D4, D4, D4, D2, D1 (3 door V8!)

Seems to only be on HT. Will need to go out side door which won't be the easiest in the world, unless there is a way to hack back door lock. Or add HT control. 90S D250 fuji and loving it.

Can you set up the key fob to pop the rear door open like you could with the Disco 3/4?

Talking of the Discovery 5, as we weren’t….. Very Happy

I saw one of the current model last week and was amazed that the centre and rear most seats don’t fold flat at all.

When the seats are folded down they both pitch up slightly from the seat hinge. How dum is that.

My wife had a D3 and loved it for it’s van like qualities when we needed it or when camping.

Even for day to day use that would mess with my head.

Anyway, back to our regular broadcast…… Mr. Green

It's just shy of 1800 but by time pillow on you gain a bit more.
Worked really well at the weekend. Used it for 3 nights with 2 of us. Had a shelter for storing gear and cooking. There was some condensation on windows but not bad. Great nights sleep, cosy and quiet, rain nowhere as noisy compared to tent.
Only issue we had on first 2 nights we got up to low battery warning, lights were on auto so when it gets dark and unlocked side lights stayed on all night. So switched auto off and that solved it. 90S D250 fuji and loving it.
