Corrosion? its a plastic tank. Or do you have diesel bug?

You won’t get a genuine air bleed valve… part now obsolete Big Cry
Just been through this, but my cranking issue was always when fuel was lower than half a tank. Replaced both the non return and air bleed with used genuine out the old filter head, problem solved. You could blow either way through the bleed valve. Is the crank sensor genuine? Cheap ones are I hit and miss. Check the alternator, as the crank sensor is susceptible to electrical noise. Another issue could be the immobiliser…. Is the battery in your fob ok or need changing ??

Regarding corrosion I meant the fuel filler neck and etc. Not the tank Luke Marsden
