For Sale : 3 x Galvanised Roof Bars, 150 quid. These were a collaboration between Mantec and Boab some years ago. There is information on this site about them here;
https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic8626....antec+boab Mine of course have been blasted then galved so should last forever. I had them on my 110 and attached a 6x4 trailer base board. Worked a treat for years and at a fraction of the cost of a roof rack. I simply drilled some lash points and I was away. The fixing brackets have not been galved (too small and fiddly evidently). I was planning to rub them down and paint with POR15 and a finish spray of galv spray. That way they will match the bars. Never got round to that, so you will need to do that yourself if you want them to look the part. The small bolt holes on the bars have a little crust from the galv so will need a clean up or tapping out slightly before fitting. All hardware is there, tread plate, fixing bars, end caps etc. The fixing bars have not been galved, so I would suggest rubbing down and treating with POR15. There is a ding in the underside of one step and some rubber missing from the inside of the tread plate (see picture), but this is not really noticeable once fitted. Was planning to paint them up and re-fit but just too busy. So 50 quid the lot. Cheap since they will last forever! Same applies pick up from M6 J27. Bump, need the space. 90 quid for the 3 roof bars and 20 quid for the side rails. Bargain!
