As part of the under-sealing kit they provide disposable overhauls with hood, mask, gloves and even little booties but I still manage to get covered in crap (look like an con-Telly Tubby!)
A direct hit by one drip in the eye  stuck my eyelashes together and the mask is next to useless so need to buy decent goggles and a good breathing mask.
Many thanks to "BigDave" for his speedy courier service, this was picked up from "KZYCNN" and delivered within 2 days of the intial enquiry 
Paint now stripped off the top and with the body sprayed black this evening after work, it will then match my existing MSS box - thanks Tony

We spent the last couple of days guiding/support vehicles for Fifth Gear doing the Coast to Coast in Northern England
Also picked up an 06 90 for Hazel (Barbara's daughter). Might now have to sort out pink R + T sliders etc!!!!

Top tip for you Chris no need to spend money on disposable coveralls. Simply loiter about outside any Police station looking like that and they will take you in and help you remove your old clothes, even bagging them for you. Plus you get a set of free disposable overalls, though make sure you have an alibi otherwise...................   :thumbsup:

spot on can't beat fresh sea bass caught and cooked like that. there's nothing better. trouble is it "spoils" you, and when you're in a supermarket looking at the fish, I just think wtf? no way I'm buying that. |

Only classic Benz, in fact they are all classic car & bike marques but for the later Land Rover books, I have no interest in modern cars
My favourite car and bike era is the 50-60's but I love reading about the earlier vehicles, the mechanical developments especially how the social history of the time, politics, war etc affected vehicle development. Cars were interesting and engaging in those days - the Defender still is...
As you well know Steve you can pick up some really interesting books cheaply - just wish I had a more retentive memory...I forget most of it as soon as I have read it  Incredible detail some of the old books go into, but most ordinary people had to be able to understand and carry out basic mechanics in those days to keep their cars on the road...would love a 1930/40's motor one day :whistle:

Went for a run over to Bridlington and then up to Whitby for tea on Saturday though. First time in a while Big Black has been used for something other than work, I enjoy driving it more when I'm not working! |
