It also brings to tow ball a little further out from under the spare wheel. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

I fancied a different face. During such change I found some very crusty bits 😬

Sources stainless replacements from YRM and looking much better.

Steering guard to paint at some point!!

One piece rear shafts fitted. Supplied by Ian Baughan at IRB. He has the ends zinc coated along with the cap head bolts to
Prevent the corrosion issues they usually suffer with. .

And the new face of Daisy. Much cleaner and brighter. Will have all the extra holes from legacy models/parts filled and the front end painted in the summer, quite happy with the way it’s turned out.

Series light surrounds, zunsport grille including lower grille. Stainless Uproar4x4 front bumper with tinted DRLs. Love it. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

Few more updates on old Daisy this last week.

Received some little horn grilles from Uproar4x4, fully stainless so will continue to look their best.

Had the steering guard coated with the same Line-x that I had the bed coated in. Looks so much better now.

And finally got around to replacing all my bush’s for superpro units. Some of them were a pig to get out. But brute force always wins Rolling with laughter

Replacing the bush’s is a job I’m seriously putting off !
It feels like yesterday that I did the 110 but the 130 has what look like the originals from 2009 !

What we need is a Cornwall tool share , a 20T press would be no.1 on the list !

Looking great by the way, yet to see you out on the roads of Cornwall https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/

Looking great Roy. Liking your new light surround configuration very much. Not sure it would have quite the same impact on mine given the Corris grey colour. Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Hey bud, unfortunately it’s not advised as an engine intake as the aperture is too small and would restrict airflow. I just have it as a sort of blank but something different from the normal. (Mine maybe for sale soon as I might be changing my intake design, currently have it upto the wing top under the snow cowl)

It’s sold my nakatenenga, part of their improved intake system but I emailed them and they sold it separately to their kit 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

I’m fortunate enough to have a very good friend of mine that owns his own garage. Few John smiths gets me access 😂

The 20Ton press didn’t touch half the bush’s. Hence the mess of the one in the picture. Brute force always wins. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

I bloody knew it was them!!! Thought I was seriously losing my marbles Laughing would explain why I could not find it as a standalone item.

I'd also be using it as a sort of blank, so hit me up if/when you come to sell it. The Cummins needs a 4" intake and I doubt it'd fit through the wing side Snigger Stuart

I’ll be running my 4” intake to the wing side. It’s tight. But it’ll go. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

Well then... I'll have to see how tight everything is down that side of the engine bay once the lump is mounted. Got to try think about some sort of intake filter - guys at the garage aren't satisfied with me just wanting to stick a fat cone filler and heat shield straight to the inlet of the turbo.
Had a lquick look at what I'd best describe as an in-line filter, bit less bulky than a massive airbbox. Stuart
