Is it suitable for road use or is having one on a road car an automatic MOT failure?

I'm afraid this wasn't the case for me. I contacted Kath at Optimill with a view to trying to purchase an additional boss (ie the bit that the steering wheel attaches to) as I have 2 steering wheels which I'd like to swap at will but they are unable to supply just the boss. I can see why but its still a shame. Despite this the quality is excellent, the customer service is excellent and the whole kit with the swivel lock is fantastic. I'll echo the thoughts about the pins being silver but I have sprayed mine black, following on from Darrens thread (LandRoverAnorak) & this has finished the kit off a treat https://www.defender2.net/forum/post786128.html#786128 Cheers, Paul |
