^^^^ ??? don't remember that - is it an old post on FB? you got the right def2 user? maybe we should have a thread somewhere in an L663 section which has a list of FB Id's matched to Def2 ID's ?

Well GS Finance Department think its still coming next week - this morning I got requested the Driving License identifty check nonsense so they can send me papers to sign.
Bl**dy government website not taking my LicenceNo/NatInsNo/PostCode combo (this despite having used this service many times for use with foreign car rental) so was forced down a Digidentity set up to get it... Signed the docs and transferred the funds for mine this morning. I just had to answer a couple questions only I would know the answer to, that was tough

That’s a psychological barrier for me, with a complication. A new Defender would be less that we paid for our first house, but more than we sold it for a few years later.

So... just got a call from my salesman - mine is now in the UK and will be shipped direct to the dealership (no stop off at Stone for me!) - he's now talking Tuesday/Wednesday next week for pickup.
I'm now going through the finance shenanigans and about to transfer a five figure sum to Guy Salmon too.... 
Apparently there is a push to get stuff over the line this financial year

Indeed, I would have got 3 out of the block of 4 mine was in
And it turns out GS  up my finance a tad (doing it on a 4 cylinder D200, instead of a 6 cylinder, there's a £2k GMFV difference which might interest people) but have now corrected all of that with them and am within 40p of where I started, which keeps SWMBO happy Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history) |
