So despite promises from my salesman to the contrary, I still have that nagging doubt that all the bits won't be at the dealership for fitting - I can see the "oh someone must have robbed that for a car that had to go out last week" conversation playing out yet... I'm amazed how quickly they're turning it around. When did it arrive at the dealer? Today? Quite good to have it all turned around in 24hrs - I thought it usually took a few days to get everything in order.

My dealer pencilled in two days for mine and that was only mud flaps to be fitted, though the fitting of one is debatable, not as tight fitting as on the other side. In the end it took a few extra days as new wheels had to be sourced. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Mines 'in the air' as we speak - either PDI or Mudflap Fitting. Allegedly there's a night shift on tonight freeing up more 'work time' and my vehicle handover is set for tomorrow afternoon some time so they may well get nearly 2 full work days to sort it all.

As it happens, and of interest to anyone else who has had a car slide from March to April, I have a whole new set of paperwork to sign as the drift from March to April on mine has 'incurred' an increase in First Year Road Tax which they're having to 'offset' as a discount... And I need to draft my 'disappointed in LR experience' email to support any sweetener recompense from LR... Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

99 days precisely - but just 54 minutes to go - handover at 3pm!
