I am after a worklamp for the back of my 110 Tdci, I would like the while kit including the dash switch etc.

I have looked on ebay and genuine ones look to be about £55 or so, but I am concerned they don't have the proper dash switch etc...which kit should I be getting? 2011 110 USW

Hi, I have the genuine one fitted and it does not come with a dash switch. They have 2 switches, one on the light and one inside which is placed in the plastic interior piece.

Thinking about it, from where you usually take the power feed a switch up front would be a really hard to achieve unless you were willing to run a separate fused and relayed wire to the back.

The old SSE ones I used to drive had worklights with a dash switch. If it is outside mounted I can live with that. I would rather have a genuine one than an aftermarket jobby. 2011 110 USW

Whilst I understand your desire for a genuine one - I like some of the OEM goodies myself - I think where it comes to this sort of thing you're selling yourself short. There are so many excellent options - some of the new LED lights, for example - that the only benefit of buying genuine in this case is that it will come in a box with Land Rover printed on it. Then it will just be a re-badged version of something that you can buy cheaper elsewhere anyway, such as Hella, Wipac, or similar. Darren
