I saw in the YouTube videos that the V8 has the steering wheel shift paddles, so these can probably also be added to the base L663? --

Seems like powerful uk have been treated like crap and are sticking two fingers up to their dealership.

It certainly sounds like there's an issue with the dealer; but I'm not clear how using software/IP that you have not paid for from JLR gets back at the dealer.?

I'm wondering whether this will be another video taken down after JLR corporate get involved.

Sadly they haven't. If you have seen his latest video on YT his taken the car back and fixed them himself. He obviously expects JLR to treat the early adaptors with abit more care. Or how he treats his customers. But that's not the way corporate world works. If he gets a good person who's willing to go above and beyond for their role then alot of these issues can be resolved. In most cases that's not the case and you as a customer well the customer is just another number.

That's not what I've see or read?

JLR corporate ~ Mr Skywalker (?) has been back in touch and wheels are turning. It seems the issue is very much dealer based and it's been stated that his dash cam recorded "something" at the dealers that has caused him concern.

It's self evident that he's both more technically competent and invested in fixing his vehicle than any of the staff at his local dealer's.

The dealer looked at this and thought the poor quality of the wrapping of the loom proved he'd been messing too much. The truth is this is how it left the factory. Shocked

It seems the Near Field Sensor Module (NFSM) was not behaving well:

Chaps, I'm considering a D300 or a P400, how easy is it to retrofit the shift paddles? --

£250 to get ACC enabled, very tempted on my 2022 90 XS Edition.

Anyone used these guys and any issues with dealers etc. Seems pretty low risk that they'd notice tbh?

I have done it. Got the ACC and Auto High Beam Assist activated. Highly recommended, took about 30 mins. Well worth the money.

Naks apparently you have to swap out the standard steering wheel for the same one that comes with the V8 I believe which has the paddle recesses https://www.powerfuluk.com/paddle-shift-up...wheel.html yet another pommie bar steward down under

Does any one else find ACC very brutal and not very sophisticated? Compared my XC90 it seems very crude. Confused

Yes we do too.
Find it unusable in most circumstances so just use the 'manual' cruise Rolling Eyes

You just need to know how to use it properly. Had a XC 60 before which worked slightly different but once you realise how it works I find it good. The reason for the difference is that it works off the road sign speed limits, so if you are doing say 60 on a motorway and select it it speeds up to 70. So I just select it and then use the speed select switch to reduce the speed to what I want . My Volvo selected the speed you were doing at the time which was slightly better. You can if you want go into senses and deselect speed sign part of it and just set it manually every time. 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar

Does anyone have a list of the CCFs that need changed to add ACC to a 2023 model?
