MY21 19" wheel - brake size versus 20"?
Hey everyone

I'm going to place an order for a D300 SE shortly and found something in the MY21 technical specs. It shows 19" wheels as running 363/350mm f/r brakes while 20" runs 380/365. From this running 18" tuffants alloys might work if I order factory 19" option wheels?

Can anyone confirm if they do change the brake size between 19 and 20 inch wheels, the only reference ive found is from the tech spec at https://media.landrover.com/en/tech-specs, be great it's correct but a huge mistake if I got stuck on 19's!

Thanks

In the UK - You can only specify the 19" 20" or 22" on D300

As standard it comes with 363mm Disc and 4 Pot caliper on front and 350mm single caliper on rear.

I would not plan on being able to fit 18" wheels - unless you plan to modify brakes.

The standard on D200 or D250 is 349mm discs - twin sliding calipers at Front and 325mm single caliper at rear.

Sorry what I was asking is are the brakes the same between 19 and 20 inch rims, the tech spec seems to say they aren't?

And what I showed you was the brakes are based on the Engine

Powerful faster engines have the bigger brakes.

With those powerful engines and bigger brakes you can not specify the 18" wheel

The Powerful Engine can be specified with 19" wheel, 20" or 22" - NO 18"

If you spec 22” Wheels then they change the break callipers to 6 piston and smallest wheels size are 20” that can fit.
