Camelman, does your name have anything to do with the elusive, and at risk, Gobi camels that I first learnt about just last night thanks to Sir David's (Attenborough) latest, and as ever excellent, programme about our amazing planet. Question

A Perfect Planet, Episode 3 - Weather. Follows some Gobi camels but at the end also shows how the filming was undertaken. BBC iPlayer.

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Just a bit of general tidying up Smile.
Looking at getting some custom made rocksliders made up longer term, the sills are about 6 inches longer than a standard 130s due to the tub / body configuration.

Strangely, I did live in the Gobi desert for a year and encountered many camels but that's not where my username derives from! I had a Camel 110 from the '95 event which I shipped down to Capetown and drove up to the North Cape of Norway Smile. After running it as my main car for 6 years, I then sold it to some friends who drove it back home to New Zealand!

Yep. Well chuffed. Also got around to fitting the silencer to the diesel Air heater. I no longer sound like an f16 preparing for take off Laughing

Also treated the underside to a going over with lanoguard. Goes on nicely, will put some pics up when it’s dried.

Slightly worried my own heater isn't fitted with a silencer now lol. Will see when I fire it up just how loud it is.

I think they were cheap ebay led flood lamps. They were on when I got the truck but have only just got around to refitting them after swapping the rack.

The silencers are only a tenner on ebay.

I bought them from Foundry4x4 and they arrived in a dreaded blue bag...…

To be fair, they went on no bother, haven't leaked and only cost £25 for the pair.
