sump guard
I am looking for a sump/steering guard for my 110 300tdi with access or quick removal for when I change the oil filter so as I don't have oil all over it - anyone know of such or recommend a decent one that is more than 6mm?

do you mean a combined steering and sump guard? not sure i know of any or even know of any dedicated sump guards. plenty of steering guards out there and likewise various different front axle guards out there too. Cheers

I have a diff guard but now need a steering guard probably not the sump....

Quite a few out there. Some offer good protection, some offer great ploughs, and some look good.

4 chassis mounting points, room for recovery rings on chassis, 3 piece assembly, tabs to pick up on steering damper mount(unused one on drivers side) reinforcing on rear of main guard would all be my search criteria.

Or, bolt/weld a protective loop on the chassis in front of the steering box shaft and fit hd sumo bars from Gwyn Lewis.

Also consider boxing in track rod if you drive in areas with stumps/brash or rocks. Cheers
