Kudos man. Great build. Putting these in Defenders is Dan at DT’s thing, (along with LS’s).
I have pointed him towards this thread as he’d appreciate it.

More beautiful work, there is no doubt that you are gifted.
The only "query" I would have, are those exhaust manifolds, which look a bit "square", very unlike a "curvy/flowy" set of headers?

It's all down to the limited space available in the engine bay, so the manifolds had to be made 'log' style rather than a nice set of tubular headers. What they are now is basically what Toyota fit from factory, just neater, less restrictive and don't foul the bulkhead/chassis. 1989 90 4.3 V8

Would love to see more pictures Thumbs Up

The engine looks to be quite well forward and high to miss the steering box?

I thought that it would be something like that. Just be very sure that you know that I was not questioning the quality & design of your work, which is simply 100% above reproach.

Such is the build quality, the only right thing for Matt to do on completion is do a lap of the country so we can all have a good look and listen to this thing. Sound fair?!

Really Nice build mate.

I'm now considering this for myself in my TD5.

Just wanted to ask about what TC ratios you'd recommend for the 3UZ.

I thought 1.2 would be okay with the longer drive in the R380, but. The LS and M57 boys tend to got to 1.1:1.

Only concerned because I do aim to do some long distance traveling in the car eventually. Luke Marsden
