Fiited my Superwinch Talon 9.5SR on Sunday, easy except for the amount of front grill that has to be removed
![]() Went to fit my 'one size fits all' winch cover and, guess what, it does not fit ![]() OK if you have a bridge winch but useless for one with the selonoids on the side. Chap down the road has a SW EP9 with a cover fitted so I borrowed that and that does not fit either. Unless I am missing something I thought the Talon was the same size as an EP9. Any idesa where I can get a winch cover to fit ? Bob PS - I have sent you an email Greeni ![]() |

Bob, You get the problem where the moisture gets in (mainly through condensation)- and once in it is there until you take the cover off and dry it. The moisture will eat away at your rope as fast as UV light (will also accelerate the corrosion of all metal parts. You would be better off with something like this: ![]() It will allow the rope to breath. I can't remember where in UK sells them though ![]() Glyn ![]() ![]() |

Results are back:
They are made by a company called Offroad trail tools in the states (I saw one at a friends shop)- mine so stay away ![]() Here is the link to the product: http://www.offroadtrailtools.com/shop/inde...t&c=25 Maybe offer up a 'group buy' and see if you can get a good deal- (anyone with a synthetic rope should have one).
