I fitted Britpart and they’ve been fine for the last 50,000 miles

i use Bearmach CVs in all my towing 4x4s and open diffs. anything with an axle locker or over 33" tyres i use ashcrofts shafts and CVs as i want reliability, the novelty of changing CVs at an event, or even worse for us on a vehicle with someone having training is not good at all. Cheers

I fully agree with that. I have Aschroft all around now but it is an investment. But I am happy I did it after a while. Roel

My car will probably never go ‘off road’ apart from some scenic tracks etc. Looks like I’ll give Bearmach a try, I only do approximately 5000 miles a year so hopefully these will last me a time.

If you use "normal" tyres It should be fine. And if you get in a difficult situation keep your steering as straight as you can. The more angle of your steering wheel the more difficult your CV's will have it. Roel

I was just thinking exactly that when I watched your video. I have Michelin Latitudes fitted which would be slipping compared to the grip given by your tyres. I’m not sure what they are - Bear Claws perhaps? Mines is just my daily driver and doesn’t even need to tow the caravan any more since we got the motorhome so it leads an easy life.

Mine is my everything, It's my toy and my company car, holiday car and shopping trolley.
I have 35" Simex tyres as on the video and an old set BFG MT 235 85 for the miles. It was a farmers pick-up that ended sideway in a ditch with dirty brown water. After some tlc and some new connectors it works fine.
