do you use your car on short journeys if that's the case id give it a good run it may not be able to do a regen Smile

Hello andydef90!
Thank you for your comment.
I only drive my car on weekends and 80% of my journeys are over 100mils.
But here in Japan wherever you go, except high way and off road there are always millions of traffic signals waiting for you even in countryside.
So what you have to do is stop-go-stop-go-stop-go...I guess it is similar to many short journeys?
And on most of roads the speed is being limited like around 30mils/h. Sad Maybe it makes more DPF regen?

The sound does seem to vary a bit between vehicles, but what you've described matches my experience of auto regeneration. Unless the light comes on a lot, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hello LandRoverAnorak
Oh really! I feel much better now...
It is very convincible to find someone who has same experience. Smile

A Nanocom could also force a DPF regen. And mind the bolted pressure sensors.

It's quite irritating to me, that your mileage does not appear while engine is running (first picture). Is this normal ?

Mileage appears under the speedo rather than the rev counter. Darren

Hello
Mileage is under speedo on my defender.
Is there any difference between LHD and RHD defender?
